Think he means measure it. It is probably a 4x2x2...
Get another heater, another 200 watt will be fine. I agree, you need to let the tank go through a cycle where the bacteria can grow on the bio media before putting any fish in it.

The tank is roughly 5'5"X2'5"X2'. I am starting to think that the person that sold me the tank though it was 100g, but in fact it may be larger. The width of the tank is 2' but only 1'6" of that is part of the aquarium. The other 6" is the bio-ball and filter compartments.
Anyone have any thoughts on whether I have a 100g or a 100+g tank? Just wondering if there are standard sizes to them.

Thanks!

wtf is peoples obsession with giant turnover rates?

I agree. I recommend 10x turn over in smaller tanks.... like 75g and under and ones with HOB only. 10x is not needed and is not feasible in very large tanks or tanks with a wet/dry, multi can filters.
