Well, i'm here at the shop working on the tank. I'm just taking a break. I am taking some pics of stuff i'm doing today, and will post them tonight. I also put a little more water in the tank. It should be full mid week.

What do you monster tank builders think is the best method of cycling a system this big.(PTC?)

Well, I built the suction tubes and overflows. I also put some more water in. Its almost three quarters full. I need time because I am putting 30 gallons of water from my old tank every other day. (and r/o water from holding tank)

i did a fishless cycle.......added some live bacteria and amonia chlorate ( ???) worked fine just took awhile to complete

When I put my fish into the kiddie pool, I just put old tank water in and the old filter. Instant success.

i like the whole add gravel from a mature tank! that works great, and hook up the filter u want for this one to a tank that's set up to get it completely seeded not just having part of it like people usaully do!

i do this for smaller tanks like my shrimp colony then u dont need to worry bout temp fluctuations!
