1100 set up

I just put two pounds of silversides in the tank. The fish are as happy as I am

Dinner time. I love feeding Brussels sprouts. They sink to the bottom and the fish just graze on them until they are gone. Typically I cut them in half. I think it’s the easiest “veg” to feed the fish because they sink and the fish love them.

Tank temps are at 85 and they take a pound a smelt a day and 5 or 6 Brussels. $3.50 a pound for the smelt
Winter months I let the temps go to 75 or colder and feed every 3 days or so.

Yeah, I just can’t keep up with the growth! I got those Dats (10 of them) about 15 years ago and they were a little larger than a quarter. They started out in a 180. Then a 360 then a 450. Now they are in the 1100 and it still seems small

It just runs in that room. It goes behind the tank. I have thought about continuing it into other rooms. I do have 5 separate tracks behind the fish tank so a different train comes out each time.
