yes, it does. I am thinking of eventually getting some chalceus for the top.
it won't look as empty as the barbs get bigger though.

thats the thing. when they are 3x the size they are now, it might be tight. I will need all the dilution volume I can get..if I see some nice chalceus though, I might have to get 4.

you know, as I was sitting watching them this evening I was trying to figure out why the tank looks so empty in the pic but not in real life.
then it hit me.
duh. they are swimming around in real life LOL
in the pic they are motionless so all the empty space just sticks out.
when you are sitting in front of them its not nearly as bad as it looks.
thankfully, they are always moving

That makes alot of sense! I notice the same thing on my Burundi tank, my male is pushing 8" (he is the one pictured in my avatar) in my 90 g. In the pictures I always think to myself "wow, they still have lots of room to grow", but then when I am actually sitting watching the tank, I always think, "man, I really need my 210 g right now!"
I am currently saving for a 210 g to put them in as their permanent residence.
