thanks yes they are a foot long now and fat. beasts! by far the most colorful tinfoils I've ever raised (first time I've ever raised the black barred variety) after keeping tinfoils since the 80s lol

They are a nice looking variety/species.
Also shows the care they got when growing to reach that size with those deep colors.

cleaning my Rena XP3s. One is from 2006 the other from 2008 and they are STILL running. They don't make filters this good anymore.

I've always gone with the Eheim Classics, which were always solid and probably still are? I don't trust the filters with fancy electronics just give me a container and a pump and a couple of tubes.

Have you ever tried tossing a ball into the tank? I feel like ping pong balls would be too small, tennis balls have fibers I wouldn't want a fish to eat, billiard balls I think would sink and maybe be bad for the glass?

if you can find a 4-6" rubber ball and do a surgery where you insert some weight so it's more neutrally buoyant?

I know you have raised him this well for a long time but I think you should figure out some toys
