Thanks all ! !

Picked up paint & coat #1 is done (white it is) also picked up new glass canopy.

Not sure about the back & sides, was going to limo tint, and do some cool moon lighting through it, but she wants a scene of some sort, just not a standard tank backer. Perhaps will get some custom art made... who knows

Here is the finished project as far as the room & mounted tank are considered.

This is a hi-Q photo (dusty lens and all) from the base of the stairs to the tank.

Decorating, lighting, background, & stocking are next. Also a W/D filter system (currently a HOB rated for 75g so sooner is better) and a constant drip exchange.

At least we can have company over for the graduation party.

Just working on the filter system, pump and in-line heater arrived in the mail. have to paint the overflow pipe & let it cure.. Just installed the background this evening. & the light went in over the weekend.

Much praises to "Marina, Clear-View" background adhesive. never used an adhesive before, but it looks awesome. I love how you can see the image on the sides, rather than the normal "mirror" issue you often get with the sides.

Threw some decorations from my 55g just to take up space, but they are too small. Will need to get some more LARGER pieces..

Here are a couple pics from the cell phone, the adhesive, and a shot each, with & without the room lights on....

Sometimes simple is better. You know what they say, "If it ain't broke...don't fix it."
Tank looks great.
Congrats.
