I've always had marineland. I may get the Emperor while it's on sale

The emperor and penguin series Marinelands are great. I used to use them on all my tanks. I just recently got an Aqueon for my 40 growout and its pretty good. Especially because the actual pump is inside the tank so no filter overflow. I don't know if I'd get one for a larger tank though. If your looking for a cheap cannister I've had two NEXX cannisters strapped together before and they work surprisingly well as long as you get the seals right. And super cheap however, wet dry is the way I'll go from now on! Super easy.

I have an Aqueon on my little 10 gallon and I love it. Then I have a Tetra Whisper 60 with my Emperor 400 on my 75 gallon. Then a Tetra something or another on my 35 tall. And I'm adding another to my 60 which has a Penguin 350 so far. All tanks get weekly water changes of around 40% too

They're all on sale
Penguin 350- $33
Emperor 400- $45
Aquaclear 70- $44.99

Other similar item prices:

Aqueon 55/75-$41
Tetra Whisper 70ex-$38

Also what filter media do you guys all prefer? Looking at grabbing some ceramic rings and some filter pads

Right now I use the blue cut to size filter media. It's cheap and available in every fish store around and it's been keeping my levels in check for three years. If there's anything better out there I'm all ears though.
