Very beautiful native tank. Your crappies are gorgeous. Also, I was considering a native tank at one point because we enjoy fishing so much, too. I was going to keep pumpkinseeds and bluegills, too. Didn't consider crappies at the time, but might have to keep those on my wishlist again. Stunning tank!
try it, they are great!

nice native tank. Some gorgeous fish. Im not used to seeing largemouth bass that small :) all the ones i catch are already a good 14+ inches but watching that fish grow is going to be a heck of a treat.

amber fwiw. i also only used fake plants for years till i tried a couple of live. i don't do any co2 and just throw in some hearty stuff from my lfs. it looks way better and is no problem at all to maintain. they only need a trim every so often. now that i've seen the vibrant plant color ( under a t-8 no fancy grow lights either ) i will always use live plants. i have been trying to convince the better half to let me put some in her goldfish tank but she wont let me. i jumped to the end so if this was already discussed sorry. give em a try and i doubt you would regret it.

excellent tank. I strongly considered making my 90 gallon a native tank but just can't get rid of my delhezi. Kept bass and bluegills when I was a kid and loved em, perhaps someday ill get back around to keeping em, till then ill make sure the bigger ones keep sore lips! would been nice to keep this big boy in a tank:
