Hey if you ever would like a fully aquatic turtle that doesn't emerse/bask in fw tanks check out turtle shack.com for the baby musk turtle. It truly only comes up to take air. Mine had basking spots it never used in years, truly aquatic.
 
Just read from beginning to end. If my tank ends up looking half as good as yours I will be thrilled.

Congrats on your tank, I know you've put a lot of hard work into it.
 
Can't really say anything that hasn't been said 100 times by now, but this is tank is a treat to see and I really enjoy the gar in particular. looking forward to seeing more!
