15" MONSTER (Vittatus)

I have to say, his personality tripped me out yesterday. A fellow MFKer came over w/his kids and we were chilling. The ATF was acting weird. He was swiming to the corners of the tank (away from us in general)
. I tossed in a few pellets so they could watch him eat and he ignored them
(this guy never says no to food if he is not full). Before they left he ate 1 or 2 pcs and took the rest when they left. It was funny because he recognized strangers and was kind of skittish... once it was me and my family, he was following us like normal or greeting us in front of the Acrylic
I just had to share his personality with you guys
(im sure mad ness or any other that has a large VATF could say the same

.he is in a 300 (30" deep). 1 FX5 in the top left corner and a quiet1 on the top right facing towards the left from my Sump. All current is at full strength (nothing split to lower the flow and current all in same direction).
One outlet from the Quiet1 and one Outlet from the FX5 as you can see the split nozzle on the floor Lol
Weekly 50% Water Changes (which has dropped to 1-2 weeks depending on my schedule). Also, during water changes, I chase him very mild with the pole of my net to get him used to his surrounding (I have heard they crash a lot in home tanks) so he dont crash (so far he has only bashed his face once due to me taking out a 17" Black Aro that he had scared the Poop out of. Aro would hand out in a corner facing the black back
).Was feeding daily Market Shrimp and once a week massivore but I want to slow his growth down to enjoy him longer so I am going to go with every 3 days.
He is fairly peaceful and does not bother his tankmates... does not even like Feeders
(No more shows
)... but has de-faced a Mono Sabae. He has scratched my Kitumba but nothing major
Oh and if it matters, the pic was taken from my iphone and he was infront of the light (light is in the middle of my tank n he was at the front of it). His color is probly brighter from the light behind his tail but it is his natural color
