the grey on top is there show that there isnt gona be a wood sheet.
but Im still desiding about that part.

I think the final product is gona look better than the draw up.

why not 2x4s instead of 1x4s?
also, your top layer of wood supporting the outer edges of the tank is going to break the moment you fill your tank with water. it is currently hovering by just the nails.

The outer edge is going to get support from plywood sheet.(3/4in).
first of,the wood shop didnt have 2*4 in stock and second 1*4s work out
cheaper in a double stack.

Ill post more pics when the next part is done,as to explain it better.
Like I said,Im doing it quality. So Im taking the time to build it good and strong, and wont just
fill the tank until Im sure its going to hold.

what they meant by adding vertical supports are like the ones i added to my frame. i circled the support in red. The wood on wood support will take some stress off just the screws supporting all the weight.

A notched out 4x4 will do the same and then some ;)

If you look at my previous pics, youl see that I do have supports where you guys say I dont.Like the above mention pic.It might just look like it doesnt or Something.

The beam in the red is under the vert, half under the lenght. The gap in the blue is where the second 1*4 is going, also under the vert.On the side of the top part,Il use ply sheet as the support.

I THINK YOU ARE TRYING TO CUT TO MUCH CORNERS BY TRYING TO SAVE MONEY. BUT IN THE LONG RUN YOUR GONNA PAY MORE MONEY. DONT RUSH YOUR PROJECT IF MONEY IS THE ISSUE. I KNOW HOW IT IS. YOU WONNA GET THE TANK SET UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. BUT DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. AND GOOOD LUCK !!!!!
