not sure why it wouldn't work for me. I've done it before lol. Not sure in the uk. They get much more massive in the long run than rtc do, and are a highly aggressive species. I would not recommend this fish for anyone with a smaller tank with tankmates, or a first time catfish keeper. It would totally ruin the expirience for you if it was a first time. I know you're not bigcol, but think twice before going after this species. Likely to find pieces of your rtc and other fish floating in the tank the next day.
Holy sh*t dude are they really that bad lol and hows the tank build coming along? Hope its not getting on ya nerves too much, i know mine is and i havnt even started yet lol

I'm not aggrevated with the build at all, I'm aggrevated with getting no time off to work on it like I was supposed to, and having to work out of town so that I can't get my side money for the build. I'm going to have redtailnobs order the stuff for me next week and I will just have to fork out some of the money out of my own pocket on friday, but that's when I get paid. I need to just get this thing done!. Gonna try to upload another vid. We'll see how well this one works lol.

That big boy sure is a pretty fish. What are the details on that pond you have them in? I might need to set something like that up as a temp tank when I move. Is that the 300g rubbermaid thing?

The tank is 8' x 3' x 30" deep. It's oval shapped. I bought it at a local fleet supply store, but you can get them ordered through any ranch supply store. Costed $180. I made an internal bucket filter out of two five gallon buckets. Will definitely buy you some time, but you'd be better off going with the green trough.
