tank can be removed in one piece. Divorce is imminent and so is bankruptcy. This basically means that this project is over unless someone is willing to come and get it. I will be posting a thread tomorrow in the buy and sell section with a detailed list of all the fish and aquarium exquipment that I will be selling. I don't see this as a total loss, and will definitely be doing a large build in the distant future. I'm hoping to break ground in the next two years on another large tank build. I'm going to slowly have to get back into the aquarium hobby over the next couple of years. Will be moving out of town and saving up to move back to North Carolina where I will be looking for a permanent home for myself. After I'm settled in and have some money saved up there I will begin building again. Some of the fish are already promised, but all sales are still pending. I will be trying to sell this tank in it's unfinished state for $2000, including all materials and several barrels that someone can rig into filters. If anyone is interested please pm me immediately. This thing needs to move fast. If you are within 500 miles of 59405 I will consider bringing the tank to you if you are willing to pay the full $2000. I have over $2700 invested thus far. You would get the tank, some resin, some fiberglass tape, a 5 gal pail of blue max sealer if you wish to seal it that way, a 5000 gph pump, two 55 gal drums, and some lights that I was planning on using. I will also finish installing all wood pannels so that pretty much all you have to do is seal the tank, install the windows, and finish the outside. If anyone who donated money to help finish this tank would like a full refund after the sale, please contact me via pm or my private email cliffordkinsman@yahoo.com
Thanks everyone for being so understanding and sticking with this thread. I would hope that someone would want to take this on and post on here about it. It's a true mfk build and I will only post it on MFK for sale!

p.s. I'm not giving up on MFK, fish keeping, or my love of catfish. I will still have a select few smaller species of catfish, and about 2 tanks set up at my new place until I can get back to NC. I will be keeping most of my smaller tanks.

I'm really sorry to hear about all this. I've been thru it all before to and it sux. I don't know your whole situation but by the sounds of it all the expensive stuff for your build is still outside the tank. Is there anyway you can store the glass, pump, sealer and lights for a time till you get back on your feet. The tank itself is neither here nor there. Really it's just a big wooden box at this point. The fun was in building it and you can have that again in the future.
