I'm hurting pretty bad from training, but I'm gonna see if I can sneak away to work on the tank tonight a lil anyway. At least to finish the bottom railing so that I can get it painted and ready to sit on the ground tomorrow.
Here are some pics of what went on today. I finished the bottom of the tank and sat this bad boy down. Thanks to redtailnobs for some much needed assistance on finishing up the underside and helping me get it on the ground safely. There's some pics of us goofing around in the tank after we put it on the ground. There's also a pic of the first catfish to be inside the tank! There's pics of me and rob laying on the inside of the tank. Note rob is lying with his feet touching the back wall, he's 6' tall, and has his arms streched as far as he can and there's still over 1' between his hands and the front wall. Now you guys can get a real feel for just how large this is. Thanks again to rob for his assistance.
Sorry! I'm a little excited to have this thing on the ground finally, and everything's level as well!
I'm not realy fond of the three viewing windows but I'm sure for stuctural reasons it was a must. but if that's the only thing I have to worry about I must just be picky.
