neolamprologus tetracanthus, I had one that was sold as 'Lamprologus' caudopunctatus then found out what it really was. So.... I traded him off. He would not work with the shellies he was in with. Was not afraid of him eating anything you had, just when I had him.
i see. i would of done the samething if i didnt have anywhere else to put the tetracanthus! i have to say that the group of tetracanthus are running my tank! bastards! hahahah! nothing too agro!

most tropheus are expensive :D . the cheapest ive got them was for $10 each and they were the common duboisi maswa. regarding to water parameters for tropheus just maintain a scheduled water change and stay with it. i do weekly water changes and bi-weekly vacuum on all my tanks as well as my tropheus tank!

How are the tetracanthus doing? I was up in the air about a proven pair I saw, until I saw them DOMINATING a 125 w/ all other fish twice there size. They are some of the toughest little bastards I've see. Good luck with them and hopefully you only have one male.

Can't wait til the Lepidios are all grown up.
