Oh, I learned my lesson alright. I'll never tempt fate again. What really bugs me out is the fact the Gulper took out my 2nd largest fish. My first is my Hybrid at 10" while I have alot of fish 6" and under in the tank. He's lived with them peacefully matter of fact the only one he acts aggressive to is the other Gulper who he nips at while I'm handfeeding them. Both are 3" and don't even try to eat the other cats. All the other cats are slow in comparison to the Arowana. It's truly a sad day for me, that was the first Aro I've ever owned and it grew on me. I was tryin to give him a fitting name like I do with all my other favorites. This hasn't stopped me from wanting another Aro though and I'm just gonna move the Gulpers to another tank. All my other cats have big mouths but can only eat fish about half their size. The Gulper I knew could possibly eat the Aro, but since they never bothered my other fish I assumed they'd leave the Aro alone. Seriously though a Arowana can take a place in your heart quickly and it's not worth it to take a chance with fish known to be highly predatory. I really will miss my Lei he added beauty and grace to my tank. So please be careful with tankmates people.
