It won't be cute if the little one do escape into the big ocean where the big fella are.

That happened to me before. Even in a separate tank. The baby aro jumps out during water change as the lid was open. Landed down to the larger 18" hbrtg tank and grab it right away. Good thing it was just a cheap baby green aro. Lol! I was able to took the green aro but it was dead already.

So far so good. The aggression is very minimum since day one.

Sometime the lost is not about the value of the fish but it's sentimental value.
