I would suggest removing the windows and redoing it with out the bolts. I think this would be easiest thing in the long run.

It looks like a can of worms to try to fix it the way it is now.

That tank is ugly, especially the way the bolts are sticking out, it looks overkill too. throw that thing in the trash and just build a better one.

Hey nobody said making fun of the tank wasn't FUNNY:grinno:. I just wanted to let the poor guy know we appreciated and understood his effort... despite our ridicule :p :headbang2

I used marina 5200 for mine, 44 stainless bolts, 88 washers, 44 nuts and coated the inside with the 5200

I got impatient and started filling it up in I think 24hrs, within 3 days I filled it to the max (instead of waiting 1 week) I still have no leaks anywhere.

Its fine to be ghetto! I saw no point in finishing it to look good as its not my final tank.

Man you know, it's not pretty, but in it's own way that sh*t is sweet :p lol. Priorities right? If I didn't have to worry about wife approval factor, I guarantee I would spend the extra money on more water volume instead of stain and moldings ffs.

I just took a shot of the top. 2 shop lights with 4 peices of yarn holding them up. And a blue barrel filled with lava rocks and 4 floss pads for that extra bio load and mechanical filtration:headbang2
Final tank though would be stained, trimmed etc though, but who knows when I will stop building bigger, 500, 800, 1200?
