what a great update. Got to see Nigel and ghost congi(those are some of my favorite photos this time). Ghost congi posing for the camera. Laughing at the Nigel photo bomb. Good to see you and your polys back.

Jurense is one cool fish. Kinda looks like a mini shark...almost. ;) Should be fun to see the dynamic between the cat, polys, and Hulk.

@sp. delaware and Faranah Endli: can't figure out if the Faranah Endli is being lazy and a pretty log, or she's holding her own against Mamma Delaware.

Happy you're sorting things out. I'd love to see the 75 too when you have a chance. :)

That sp. Candy.... seriously gorgeous fish. *drool*
yes to the 75 please!

Well got the cats moved in. Change of plans tho we are keeping the vulture. Ni way my son wouldnt have noticed it missing. The ansorgii and lap not soo much lol.

Both cats seem waaaay more comfy in the 300. Vulture was v3ry skittish in the 150.

Sorry the waters cloudy i added a little ridx today

Awesome! Do youthink they're more comfortable just because they have more room to escape to and swim around in? Or do you think it is also in part the way the tank is decorated or lit?

I know the jur is definitely appreciating the high flow. But the vulture is probably digging the space. Learned this in the cat section... they dont like it when they're barbels are both touching things (decor and such). Makes them feel cramped.

is that just the vulture cat having sensitive barbels? Or is it all cats? Very interesting!

Mhh im not sure i dont think its all cats. My jags and raph jam themselves in all sorts of small places.

I think its just med to large pims but coukd be wrong. moe214 moe214 could probably explain better.

I dont think its them being sensativemore feeling cramped and uncontrollable

Some good new ans some bad.

Vulture cat is loving life and is a pretty cool fish. Glad i didnt give up on it.

Teug is getting big

The bad news is that the juruense got roughed up amd is now recovering in another tank.

The culprit now in the 150 and yes i know its will the small sen but this is my only option. I think it will be fine but we'll see. I dont think she did it to cauae damage. More than likely her snapping to let the new guy know whos boss. The jur acts just like a poly, hardly swimming around and like to lounge about. Only problem is the jur doesnt have those hard scales like polys. So the nips cause allot of damage. Im really pissed and almost want to do something drastic and probably stupid with the hobby.

Anyway some pics of the crew.

Haven't been to this side of the site in a while fish look beautiful Jaws and boy have they grown :).

Regarding the cats you pretty much explained it, it's as simple as them being uncomfortable. If their barbels touch all sides of the tank they feel they have nowhere to run if needed I presume and then become skittish; not to be associated with the hide that they seek out for protection, they usually don't when larger but thought I'd say this as well. It's a norm found with pims specifically. Applies to certain others with long whiskers as well. Fish can be claustrophobic too :) they're more intelligent then they're given credit for

sp. Delaware was the culprit? Damn, sorry to hear that. This kind of stuff is frustrating to say the least. It will all settle down and you'll figure it out. When you shuffle tanks it won't go perfectly, isn't that some kind of law? Stick with it, your tanks are too awesome, and so are your fish.
