  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hulk will probably keep butchering the anubias so I'd just leave them unless
You hate they way they look - then just pull them.

Id leave them. Its a pretty tough plant but if you cut most of the leaves off it may not survive. I guess it depends on how much of the leaf is left. Ive grown a whole new plant from half a leaf of the coffeefolia anubias bottom half.

I'd leave them too unless they're totally trashed. If they're too far gone cutting them will direct the plants energy to making new ones.

Maybe post a pic?

Will post a pic but i know this idiot...he wont stop i hate the bits floating around in the sump when my socks overflow

Id definitely put it in the other tank then. If you want to keep it alive that is. I had some taller anubias species that my fat butt dels crushed most of the way to nothing. Still have one with 3 leaves and the other is just a rhizome.....it may grow back it may not.

What a dick! Hahahaha... I guess he IS an herbivore so we can't judge too much. (Except that I have a hunch he's killing it because you added it.)

If you're moving them I'd just cut off the one stem that doesn't have any leaf left and keep the others as is. Second pic, "southeast" stem. ;)
