Sweet thanks for the confirmation on bow.
Just for the sake of redundancy, I used that same tank for an emergency fix on a 650g tank and did not bow or crack or anything else. The bottom drain worked great for moving my filter system to it. I did not have a stand, it just sat on the garage floor. I covered it and it held temperature well also.

I agree they do not crack, or bow. I have mine out all year round where temps dip to 20 below zero. I have put them on the ground, and dug them in, from 100 gal to 300.

Then why all the stories about repairing them and them cracking? Im hearing very conflicting arguments haha. If a machine makes thousands of them the same way youd think there would be some consistency. Which case is the majority?

An old reply....Are you sure you are not confusing these ones with the walmart ones which are thinner and anything over the 18 gallons will bow.

Those black Rubbermaid ones are much thicker
