I was thinking could it be made for less, it looks a pretty simple design just depends on materials I guessMaybe you can have one made for less? idk the prices in your country, but in mine 12,000 pounds is way too overpriced
yeah agreed! in southeast asia you can simply contact a glass maker or go to an aquarium shop and get them really cheap, idk why in the US people have to go to exclusive pet shops and buy aquariums with a built in cabinet overpricedI was thinking could it be made for less, it looks a pretty simple design just depends on materials I guess
The width doesn't add up. it may be 1.2 meter tall indeed judging from the worker standing in it but 2.3 meters wide?? The guy should be able to lay in it in the across direction, that is width-wise, and still have ample space left but it looks like he can't even lay in it. The width looks to me also 1.2 meters, that is the water width. If the posts are taken into account, it'd be wider, perhaps the quoted 2.3 meters but this is not water width at all.Measurements 10 x 1.2 x 2.3 meters and weighs 7 tons when empty
Looks like 2.3m tall on the stand to me, judging by the shots of the people walking next to it. 1.2m wide looks right. The width doesn't add up. it may be 1.2 meter tall indeed judging from the worker standing in it but 2.3 meters wide?? Also 10x1.2x2.3 = 27.6 cu meters = 27,600 liters = 7,300 gallons US. Yet if my suspicion above is correct, the tank is a mere half of this.
If the 2.3 meters is the height with the stand, then we arrive at the same water volume of roughly 1/2 of the stated volume.
It looks sharp and a clean design though. I love it.
