4 foot light on 6 foot tank?

That darkness in the corners is good if you have some shy, or sensitive fish. my fish kind of stick to the dark corners of my 6' tank kind of like a cave it makes them feel safer I guess

I do this because I put heaters and filters on the sides so you dont see them as much. T8s and T5s cast off so the bottom is still bright but the top corners arnt. LEDS dont work the same htye go straight down.

Thank you for the pictures. I do like how it looks. I think I will do a smaller fixture then one the same size as the aquarium.

i only light the section of my tank thats growing plants, have a nice dark space on the other side that the fish love to hang out in, i dont think fish enjoy being under bright lighting all day.
