4000 Gallon tank install (H20 Custom Aquatics)

I thought this size tank was the stuff of dreams.... and trips to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Love the pictures!

I live relatively close to the aquarium; I've heard a little about it, but have never been. Is it really that cool?

Also, this project is very nice. It looks very professional so far, and I'm sure it will be wicked when all filled up. It is good to see someone enjoying their hard-earned money on something that pleases them. Bravo

If i win the local lottery, I would first purchase a tank around that size, purchase land/property and have my custom house built around the tank. Anyway it still is an awesome tank. Good luck with getting everything up and running and looking forward to any future updates.

Hello Fitznacio;
I didn't win the lottery but,I had a 15,000 gallon tank built by ATM.I also built the custom around the tank and It has viewing panels all around it so you can see into the tank anyplace in the house.I'm doing the plumbing now by myself.Mike is going to help me out with the fish.It will be a all S.A. freshwater tank.

TRy live rock, not plastic coral please please oh please. Dont need "Reef Safe fish for live rock or some types of cheap corals.

Here's my simple 40 gallon breeder.. mostly live rock a few corals but you get the idea. You also will not get any filteration benifits from the fake stuff.. just my 2 cents though. If given a choice I'd always go natural.

Depsite the amazing tank I have to agrree-the fake coral looks terrible. It would have been better to have just the rock-whether its real or fake doesn't matter. When that 'coral' starts to get algae growing on it it'll look even worse.
But as with anything on this site is you pays your money..you makes your choice.

That tank and setup is NUTZ !!!! But i'm sorry if i had a Ferrari 430 and a Gallardo i ain't selling them to put my tank in the garage..

if you had that kind of money couldn't you just build a new garage for 'em?

The National Aquarium in Baltimore is probably one of the only cool things there, lol. You should absolutely check that out if you get a chance, The Australia Exhibit has lizards walking around your feet and birds flying right by your head, it's really an experience.
