Spiff. I talked to Tom at glass cages. He wasn't all that friendly lol. Not that he was ride tho. He more or less told me yea he can get 2 in thick but that he would have to call and ask as he doesn't have it on hand . He said he Hates acrylic and tried to convince me to go with glass and go with 3 foot tall windows. I really want the 4 feet tho lol. Plus I feel safe with acylic cause of the strength after all the reading and researching here on the forums

Yeah, that whole outfit is ran by a bunch of tools. I had an incredibly horrible experience with them and they probably made a grand off of me. (bought the panel and 2 tanks) There wasn't any aspect of the transaction that they didn't SERIOUSLY phuck up. The worst was after they screwed up delivery TWICE(was scheduled to get my pickups at two different fish events in town.. they never had my shiz) so eventually they sent a truck straight to my house (a month later mind you- 3 months delay total after waiting for 2 fish events)... that would have started to make up for the incompetence except they didn't mention that they would use my house as the drop off point for the day. So their big-azz truck sat in front of my house all day while dozens of people filled my street to get their pickups.

And yeah, Tom the owner was the biggest azz of all.. at both events he got all argumentative about how its not his fault that they forgot my stuff and I was initially being extremely cool about things. Must suck to work for that prick as he uses all his employees as scapegoats for his failures. It was extremely difficult not to beat that jerk to an inch of his life.

And there is nothing special about their builds either... not sure how they're still around. Bad experiences seems to be the norm with them.

Whoo... I feel better now after that stressful recall.

edit-- oh yeah, gotta include the part about them making me wait for 4+ hours each time they failed to have my crap... waiting until everyone else picked up everything they brought before they would even acknowledge that they forgot my stuff... they did that both times they forgot the stuff. Like I said, deserved to be beat.

Stacked lumber method (2x6s).

Tank will be 8 feet wide Length 12 feet. 4 feet high I will be doing this when I get a loan for a new house. Since dad is a professional contractor we can do alot of the work ourselves and therefore I'm taking extra money out for tr tank. I may possibly expand the idea x 3. An have a set up like vldesigns. Only with 4 foot height windows

First tank tho wil be smaller like one mentioned above
12x8x4

I'm right now laying out plans to build a modular acrylic fish tank system. Where it will have several 300 gallon to 800 gallon fish tanks linked up to one another with acrylic water troughs in a room together.
