With regards the huge catfish. I notice that 1 is a redtailed catfish from south america. I assume the other is Silurus Glanis AKa European Wels? Was it hard to acclimatise to the tropical temperatures in the tank?
Actually there are 3 Redtails and they are all 3 feet and a bit more. 2 of which I got at under 2" in 2005. I have never had a Wels I believe the fish you are looking at is one of my Wallego leeri

It was great meeting many of you at the Ohio Cichlid Association Conference in Cleveland on the weekend. It looks like everyone had a fantastic time and it was a fine tribute they made to our late friend Stuart Grant who actually came from Africa and visited and saw me and played in my tanks with Ad Konings and Tom Herman in March of
2000.

Man, i wanted to go that so bad...well maybe next year. I heard you were chatting with Jonathan(TheFishGuy)?
Sorry you missed it.

The Fish Guy Jonathan is a fantastic hobbyist and told me about his 800 gallon tank he built.

Set your sights on the Stingray Symposium to be held August august 6 to 9 in Chicago.

I will be there.
