BigDaddyMagnum;2918821; said:as long as you can get some circulation in the sump youl be fine as far as i know... what about taking a piece or air tubing, any length and put it in one end of the sump sucking through to tube to fill the air tube than putting it at the other side of the sump.. and let gravity and physics do ur circulation till u get a new pump, it wud keep ur water in the sump moving constanly, that and the airstone under the media and i dont see why your media wouldnt stay fine
