Finally got a smallie tonight.I had two smallies tag teaming my lure but never could hook up, they did it 4 times. Then I found another lone smallie but he didnt want to hit, so I saw a rock in the creek that was out of the water, I tossed the lure on the rock and slowly dragged it into the water and he smashed it, but got off almost as fast as he got on. Went down the creek, had some more follows. Tried to catch some chubs but they were micro chubs, I did catch a lot more longears. On the way back I decided to cast one last time and he smashed it. Got him in, took a pic, tossed in bucket and headed out.
