Because I saw it
He was about 30 foot from me, hard to miss a smallie shootin thru the air
Tonight was a bust.... we couldnt find the whole we were at last year so we hit some new holes, only a drum and ky bass was caught. I almost had my pole go in thou. I dont even remember what happened but I took a flop face first on the rocks at night..my leg is killing me....

Yes it is! What makes it so yellow/orange? Is it a mutant, or are there others like that?Its a baddarse largemouth
sounds like a nice setup. I've been wanting to do an Ohio River tank because I live in Cincinnati, but if I ever build the tank I'd like it close to 1,000 gallons. Maybe 800 +/-. Where I'm at we have a lot of bluegill, warmouth, and pumpkin seed. Also a good number of catfish like blues and yellows as well
I guess you call in xanthic, etc etc etc etc
I'll have to look it up later after fishin. I'm going to the spot we should have went yesterday, hopin to get the smallie that haunts me 3 times now
Id like to go that big as well, I would have a 1000 if I had a house my an apt limits me.
I didnt get the big smallie tonight, didnt even get him on. But my buddies woman got a nice one today, tad over 2lbs Id say. So he is in my tank. I had a nice hybrid but he didnt make it so my buddy is going to eat it.
