500 gallon reef tank cube

8 my cash i have 1 more question...I am Beginning a new tank setup, my first saltwater.. its only a 55 gallon and i have some filter options AKA canister, wet/dry, etc... Could you Tell me what you think the best deal would be for the 55 G setup for a Lionfish? Thank you very much..-josh

It really depends on what kind of saltwater tank you want to run. fish only, reef, fish and live rock. The last two tanks you would want to use a refugium. Fish only tanks you can use a wetdry. Wetdry filters in a reef tank will cause nothing but nitrates. Reef tanks will cost more lights, rock ect.. The best deal would be ebay, craigs list, reefcentral ect.. Buy a tank already set up.

THats an Awesome Setup, i think the rock alone in the tank is worth more then my life... This is the EXACT reason why I'm in School.. someday i can Have this!

then go for a wet dry, my black volitin got 14 inches before I had to get rid of him. He kept eating small angels and at $40.00-$70.00 per fish He is in a 800 gallon fish only tank.
