Thanks guys, Younglin- I can barely touch the bottom from the top of a 6ft ladder now! I am going to 'box in' the window a bit to stop ambiant light from the room behind.

What type of cichlid is that in the top right? I have wanted one for awhile but haven't found any at my LFS.

The Orange and blue one? OB peacock. Some fish keepers dont like them. Its a mixed-up Malawi , they get cool colors sometimes, sometimes really bland.

They are the only ones in my tank showing any colors yet, I had them in A 55 before.

Thought I would post an update. Almost one year and not any big problems.. Need a new pump for my sump, but for now 3 canister filters are keeping it clean enough. Wish I had a better camera.
