Oh my gosh I was checking in to see how your tank was coming along. I can’t believe you are still not setup. I will definitely be buying mine from Phoenix and picking up even though it is 3 hours away. But I am still so excited to see it set up!!!
It took seven big guys from the delivery company to carry my tank inside my home. I would make sure that sufficient help is there when its delivered and get shipping insurance all the way. Btw, fish tanks direct provides free shipping on all their aquarium setups.
I'm attempting to set up everything in ten days since I'll be leaving the country shortly after. I have 18 Moba Frontosa coming the week after next. Barring any unforeseen circumstance, I should have everything put together in time. I have the plumbing 95% done, which is the crucial part. It has been quite an experience so far doing all this myself.
I have polished river rocks in there to around 1" or maybe less in some areas. I've had my fill of sand substrate in acrylic tanks. To avoid scratches when cleaning the inside walls one needs to be extra careful, which apparently I am not up to that task.

Tank is up and running now. But I still have to setup the display tank lights and some other minor items. I pushed forward the ship date of my Moba shipment so I'll get this at the end of the month.
. Can't wait to set mine up.
