9 inch striped raphael

Here my 9 inch striped raphael. Probably one of the largest in captivity.

Excellent fish! Do you find him spending more tme in the open at this size? And if so, do you feel its ONLY due to it being harder to find a hiding spot, or a general personality change? Once again, I love your fish!

They actually get bigger. I use to have a pair that were both 8" SL. Generally when measuring fish, the tail is not counted in the measurement, which is indicated by SL, or TL meaning total length. They are really fun when they are that big.
