A. Avic's (Tarantula) enclosure and photo shoot

I have the same kind as the one in your pictures. I just got her as an early birthday gift. do you know of any live plants that mine would be okay with? I can't seem to find any specifics on plants - im worried that they'll be harmful to her. she doesn't seem to like her log or anything. she just hangs out on the glass. she's also afraid of me, and won't let me hold her...

hase it molted yet,it does look a little hairless on its butt, and I dont think avics kick hairs the same way,I think they actualy have urticating hairs on a pair of legs if I remember right but I might be remembering wrong. It looks fat and healthy for sure, the lighting is strange in some of the pics giving it an orange look, thats why I thought maybe it was going to molt soon.Anyways, nice little set up,I know you know good ventalation plus humididty is key,not easy, but key with these guys,is their holes in the lid also?Im happy for you by the way, glad you got into it finaly,I passed the torch to reptech and he started the tarantula olimpics.Good luck with them,if its a male, its still cool, better to live a good life with you than get eaten by some jerk bird or something
