A certain company sent me tank/stand combo that doesn't seem to be sized right

The canopy is hanging on by a thread. If I balance it right in the middle, there's about a millimeter clearance on each side. I'm afraid it's going to fall down.

The tank doesn't sit right on the stand either. As you can see, it's not even on the lip of the stand at all on one side. If I push it toward the middle it might help, but still it's obviously not right.

Then they mailed me a board to put under the tank. I guess I'm supposed to drill holes in this plywood board for my sump? This seems like bullshit.

On top of that...the seam along the front of the Eurobrace is a joke. Looking at the portion of it that you show in your first pic, it appears as though about a third of that is not even making contact with the top of the front panel, no adhesion at all.

I would be inclined to add a piece of 1x2 or 2x2 inside each end of that hood, just to support the weight of the hood on the tank more securely. Obviously, you shouldn't need to do this, but...:(
