A Filter Sock Thread

Hi, has anyone ever incoperated a filter sock in a uniquarium. I have a 112 gallon uniquarium with 2 overflows. I want to put 2 socks, one on each end. Also is there any socks that have a square inlet instead of a circle. Thanks

Square ones exist but I don't remember who sold them. They actually are rectangular if I recall correctly.
 
Hey everyone thanks for the great info, i am looking for 3 of the 32" one for a diy project, there was a bunch of different suggestions on here but i think this is what i need,

Polypropylene with a pressure seal retaining ring, i need ine that is not going to have the stray fiber issues. I checked mcmasters and filtersock.com.

All of the product numbers on all of the previous pics do not match up any more.

I also need the socks to sit flush on a piece of acrylic that will have the correct size hole cut for it.

Any suggestions?
