I say that you should just get another male the same size as him if you don't want any Eggs.

Not a good idea. Two males kept together will fight and injury each other.

I use ceramic heating lights and an under tank heating pad on my Leo tank.

If I use a nice carpet as the substrate, this heating pad should be below it right? Is it necessary to use a night time heating light? Or since you have the heating pad, it should do the job?

Edit: The heating pad should be under the tank?

Keep the tank temperature in the high 80's during the day. The tank temp can go down into the low 70's at night. You don't have to have a light on at night since they're noctural but red or blacklight bulbs are nice to have so you can watch them. The type of heater I have sticks to the glass, under the tank.

Thanks a lot for the reply, yes the night time bulb would be awesome to watch him...speaking of temperature varying from 80's-70's FH, how is that in degrees celsius?:D So I will get a heating light and a heating pad to place under the tank. How is keeping Leopard Gecko from your experience?:)

Well Sarcosuchus, I still have my original leo's. The pair will be 15 years old next month. They are great lizards, probably the best lizard to start off with by far. Very laided back, and they don't mind handling every now and then. I used to breed them along with a few other species of geckos and lizards but now they are the only ones I have left. I thought they might be sterile because their last 5 clutches haven't been fertilized. But the female layed 2 eggs on the 4th of June and the one looks to be fertilized. I have my fingers crossed. I want to keep the legacy going so I will probably keep the baby and buy him/her a mate. You can see my leo pics in my personal gallery
