Got 6 wilds from John and they turn out to be excellent dithers... not too picky about pH, eat like pigs, calm and active...

They are supposed to be slow growers so I don't feel too bad :D

for a slow grower, I'd say that the little guy has developed pretty well since March

You just can't get enough Eartheaters, can ya? (LOL)

Absolutely stunning fish. Do they get along well with other species of Eartheaters?

Thanks. I'm a bit surprised myself. They do eat very well tho.

LOL can you? ;)

So far so good. They are supposed to get more aggressive tho. I wonder if it helped that they've been in a group of 6 and always with larger tank mates.

Thanks! I guess they won't change too much from now on; just bigger...

besides the fin extensions, these guys always remind me of giant bolivian rams.
Interesting thought :)

Love these guys, although i was told that they can tend to be aggressive , for eartheaters that is, and have never dabbled in them.

Great pics again !!

That's exactly the reason that I have never kept any at this point. But I would still love to eventually because they really are beautiful fish.
