Any pics? Just 1 hole for a bulkhead? Personally id leave it open for options by using a bulkhead or uniseal paired with a ball valve. Will come in handy to drain the tank for quick water changes at the least. If ur not running a sump and theres absolutely no need for it in ur plans then sure… you can patch it. At 4’ height and depending on the hole size 3/8”-1/2” material will be good. Weld on 40 is the best glue for patches IMO… can be done with solvent also if ur good with it. If ur not familiar with glueing it may be more likely to fail down the road then a bulkhead or uniseal capped off or with ballvalve. U may change ur mind down the road and find a use for the hole.

Is there a reason u dont want to use the hole for filtration or with a bulkhead?

It's a hole that need patched...the hole is 2'x3' cut by tanked(the show) and i am wanting to patch in the inside with another piece or acrylic
My bad… i assumed u meant its a 2”-3” hole (round)… 2 feet by 3 feet is a much different story lol…

I’d fill the hole with exactly what was cut out. 2’x3’ in the same thickness of material the tank is made out of. Weld on #40 will work perfectly and you can sand/buff the glue work back to clear to make it look like its not even there.

If ur not confident with that holding you can do additional strips over the seams on the inside or an additional patch of 3/8”-1/2” over the entire 2’x3’ area for extra assurance. 💀🤙
