Also, oh I see I need to answer a question, I'm definitely doing arapaimas and alligator gar together to adulthood into my future 20' by 10' by 5' deep aquarium cause I have seen youtube videos of fishkeepers in asia having this combination. So far it does work. The arapaima ruled the tank until i bought the big gar and there was this moment of the gar face to face with the arapaima and he made a U turn and started to swim side by side with the gar. Im very relieved and honestly those 2 have been buddies, often swimming together.

I do not own Rarefish but I have known Wesley for a very long time
since the 90's haha. There are two tanks in this video, the first one is 19ft x 8ft x 3.5ft roughly 4000 gallons. The one right next to it is 19ft x 6ft x 3.5ft (3000 gallons)
Awesome dimensions (20x10x5) for almost any freshwater fish... the only fish I can see being uncomfortable in that setup would be the arapaima... they are one of the few fish that can get to 7-8ft in under 10 years
I believe the catfish @2:07 is a Piraiba from Peru. Here is a picture of my sb plat. gar collection.. well at least most of the ones in this tank are short bodied gars
