JD - I think it's not so much 'what legal' as 'what gets slipped out' with a little $$. Awesome looking rays, but I definitely prefer the captive bred P14's I've seen on the board; none of those seem to have the multitude of spots that all the captive P14's seem to have.

I have to agree with what Kyle says. Why is captive bred p14s so much nicer?

This is a mysterie even for us breeder.
Scientist and exporter from Brazil say, that they have never seen such nice p14 in the wild like some of our captive bred ones. Two of the best spotted wild caught ever were these:
