air pump.... in sump? in tank? or not at all?

ok wat if i just run a lil air pump in the sump would it make a dif r not worth it

that's right...none needed if you are using it to add air into the water...
the water is being exposed to the air, in much greater surface area as it moves through the media...this puts way more oxygen into the water than running bubbles from an airstone...
