Albino Channel Catfish

Here are some updated pics of my Albino Channel Catfish. He's pushing 12" or so now (never sits still long enough for me to measure). This guy is a damn pig. He will eat anything and everything I drop into the tank, until his belly looks like its going to explode.

They can get 3-4 feet long, which is why channel cats are some of the best sport fishing (and eating) catfish in the US. They are apparently very tasty as well.

I've got this guy at 78-82F (depends on whether its summer or winter). I think he's growing faster than he normally would because I've got him in such warm water.

I have a 3,500g pond outside that will be his permanent home once he outgrows the aquarium. But he's good in my 125g tank for now.
 
this makes me want another albino. i had one that i got from petsmart several years ago. he got to around 10 inches. he was a pig -- ate everything! they make great conversation pieces.
 
Great looking cat you got there they can get to monster size can't wait to see him when he is 3-4 foot :D that is going to be awesome !!! when I upgrade my tanks I am planining on getting a albino channel and also a blue catfish ;)
