This is not mine, but the friend of another member in the gar section. We are going to be keeping progress on it to see if the 'sunburst' pigment holds as it grows.

Will need expert advice on this colour morph. As far as I know Xanthic specimens have black eyes..... so not sure what to call this.

I have been trying to find out about this lil guy. It is one of my baby Aulonocara Sp Chitande Type Masinje. It was all black when hatch for 3 days and lost its color except the area just in front of its tail, which is still there. I have watched as its eyes have slowly lost their color. I finally got this pic of him today. A friend told me it is luecistic and I was wondering if this is correct?
