Algae scrubber as bio filter.

Ammonia is back into the safe area, only lost the 4. Still looking into the cause, as being a ammonia based cleaner inside the drum.

Notice the fry under the rock in the foreground.
They all survived, and the female is holding eggs today.

The four ten watt chips, are still clean, in the fluidized scrubber tank. The dry are twice as big as the ones in my other grow out tank, as they eat algea that grows from the scrubber.

I am showing how fast algea will grow back after cleaning a mineral screen. The plastic canvas screens, take a solid week to be usable as a filter after a heavy cleaning.
