if you can acommidate there size ther are very nice fish i had two that got 2 1/2 feet i gave them away they started eating there tank mates

When you guys say "Tiger shovelnose" are you reffering to the false tiger (P. fasciatum) or the true tiger (M tigrinus). I assume the first of the two based on pics.
They make great hunters, and as stated grow quite fast. I've worked with some as long as 4'. I just got a pair when my arapaima came in earlier this week. They're about 4-5" and growing to exhibit size quickly!

i know what you mean, when mine took down a couple of his tank mates, his stomach was so big, he could not move for like two days -- it looked painful
its a beautiful cat, not as massive as the RTC, so it does retain its slick and long body, complemented nicely with its stripes.
