Alligator Gar minimum tank size?

Get a 150 gallon tank and 4 needle nose garfish. He will get tired of keeping a constant supply of feeders on hand and give up on the idea of a bigger gar. That is what I did. I had a community Tank of needle nose garfish and large teteras

Sweet gator oddball! I'm confused though. I thought this thread was about an alligator gar? Not an actual alligator

Post number 7, ...the OP also stated he'd get his nephew a gator if he asked for one. I just posted examples of what he'd be in for if exchanging the idea of a 9-10ft gator gar to a 9-16ft gator.

Does anyone know what kind of alligator far this is? It's about 12" now in a 125 gallon. I'm hoping this is a Florida variant as it is spotted.
