infinity.

All of my tanks always have 1 Tablespoon of salt for every 5 gallons of water, 24/7, 365 and it is replaced after WCs so figure out a way to keep track of how much water volume you remove during WCs so you know how much to add back into it
Is that not like keeping brackish water fish? Or is the salinity a lot lower. I am assuming it is way lower but I have to ask

Ocean Salt is different than Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate) and Tablesalt/Rocksalt /Water Softener Salt (NaCl)

If I put 1/4 that amount of Ocean Salt in my tanks the fish would die.

Ocean Salt is what is used for maintaining SW Aquariums, not NaCl or Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO4)

I don't think sea salt is the same as regular NaCl.

I just got done saying Ocean Salt is different than Epsom Salts and NaCl, what on EARTH would make you think exactly the opposite? Even if i'm wrong, your logic makes absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever

My name isn't "Paul" either.....

It's likely that the jaw was damaged from hitting the glass. Water quality doesn't cause such issues. A bacterial infection can, but it doesn't look like that's the case here.
