Thanks for the offer, Where was you a few months ago when i started looking for these guys...LOL i should be alright they are cruising around the tank its been almost a week since I've had them still got all 6
Yes TWS sends you this red paper with acclimating instructions and there is a little measuring tape at the bottom of the instructions
The reason they look like there bigger is the pic is magnified at like 40% larger
Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining just letting the community know my experience
Do you have some kind of dither in the tank? In the wild cichlids use dithers as an alarm system. If the dithers are out and swimming about it gives them more confidence to come out as well. If the dithers are all hiding then they know instinctively not to come out.
You can use tetras, plattys etc to give the dither effect.

I should have gotten dithers when i ordered the Sijica that was my plan but i was so excited i forgot about the dithers, now after having them a week in there own tank I'm not going to spend $50 for shipping for $10 worth of fish and i cant go to my LFS as i don't have a QT tank
Just a quick update on my Sijica. They are now every where in the tank they even started begging for food coming to the top. I will try to get a few pics this weekend, Just dont be upset if my pictures look like "Trash" I'm not good at taking pics but i do have a light on the tank and the fry dont mind it
