Amazon Project starts (pics)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The otorongo was swimming over the top of the tunnel, so you get the ventral shot.

I haven't added any more pikes, sorry Peanut. There are a TON in there, they just hide quickly when I bust out the camera. Come up and see it. We're in the basement of the Mall of America in Minnesota.

We brought in a second large rip saw catfish (M. irwini) from ECSZ last night. Animal looks great. I can't wait to push it out of quarantine and into the display with the first one.

amazing pics! Love the tsn. They look huge now.

Nice. You know what would be cool? If you can get 2,000 neon tetras in there. I know it wouldn't work but it would be cool.

You have three different Pacu species? Can you take a pic of each seperately and label them please. AWESOME JOB!

I'll work on that pic for you. The 6 biggest ones in the pics are blacks. They have the slight counter shading on them and all weigh well over 40 lbs. We have a half dozen red belly, which are drastically smaller (at this point). Then we have our group of Piaractus mesopoticus (don't have a common name other than "pacu") that are here as part of a study. Most of the pacu are those.

Like the new pics...always something fun to look at in this thread!
